A Tohoku First! 6 Cutting Edge Snow Machines From Canada To Be Deployed

Thank you for your continued support of Inawashiro Ski Resort.
This 2023-24 season, we will become the first ski resort in Tohoku to deploy six of the latest snow machines from Canada on our slopes. These cutting edge machines can create high quality snow regardless of the weather or temperature, allowing us to combat the effects of climate change and global warming as well as to provide more consistent slope conditions for our guests.
We are also expanding our snow cannon equipment in the Sky area of the resort. We will use this combination of snow machines and snow cannons to welcome our guests with better snow conditions than ever.
The introduction of these snow machines and snow cannons will allow us to better cater not only to regular guests, but also allow schools, other tour groups, and those involved with tournaments to have peace of mind when planning their trips.
Our snow machines will be deployed on the Hayama Course and West Slope of the Base area so that they may be enjoyed by all guests from beginners to experts.
The snow machines use an internationally patented technology that reproduces snowstorms to create snow that looks just like natural snow, regardless of the surrounding weather conditions. This artificial snow blends harmoniously with the natural snow on the ground to create consistent conditions for all guests.
