Update Regarding Hydroelectric Plant in Obanazawa City, Yamagata Prefecture

We would like to share an announcement from Inawashiro Ski Resort's management company, DMC aizu.
"DMC aizu Co. Ltd. (headquarters: Inawashiro-machi, Yama-gun, Fukushima Prefecture; President & CEO: Shoji Endo) in partnership with Green Denryoku Engineering Co., Ltd. (headquarters: Marunouchi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo-to), a fellow subsidiary of IS Holdings, has taken out a Mezzanine Loan in preparation to build Nakazawa-gawa Hydroelectric Plant in Obanazawa-shi, Yamagata Prefecture. We are pleased to announce that construction has begun as of May 6th, 2021.
We have chosen to pursue these renewable energy endevors in order to further develop and revitalize the local economy, as well as to ensure the safety and wellbeing of both the local community and enviornment.
